It's time to get back in touch with nature with the best spots in Brighton🎉

We all know the importance of spending time in nature, it does wonders for our minds and bodies🍃 so let's give this day out a sustainable twist!

Leave No Trace

Start your day nice and early by heading to a local beach clean 🌊 Brighton based charities and organisations such as Leave No Trace always have a clean on that you can just turn up to! There’s nothing better than starting your day with some proactive activism 💪 It’s also a great way to meet other people and spark up a conversation!

Refill App

You’ll definitely be thirsty after that beach clean! Refill is a free app you can download which locates where you are on a map and shows you the closest shops, cafes and stores which will fill up your bottle for free! This app can also be used anywhere else in the UK💧

Hisbe Supermarket

I hope you packed your spare empty jars! Heading to London Road, check out Hisbe Food- one of Brighton’s many zero waste shops. Hisbe is a zero-waste supermarket that have a huge selection of products, from lose fruit and veg to fish and frozen foods, there’s plenty to pick from and refill at this naked food heaven. Grab yourself something from their café and even fill up some jars with extra snacks for the day ahead. Did I hear someone say… picnic 👀

Devil's Dyke

Head into town, hop on a 77 Breeze Bus and in half and hour you will be at the South Downs by the National Trust’s Devil’s Dyke! When you arrive, the world is your oyster! Fancy following a walking trail? Want to walk your own path and see where you end up? Devil’s Dyke is great for getting away from busy city life for the day. When you get hungry from all this walking, unwrap your zero-waste Hisbe goodies and feast 🧺 😍 Remember to pick up any litter you have and dispose of it properly!

Finisterre

If you are an avid walker then you will definitely want to check out Finisterre in Hanningtons Lane! With a strong ethos in sustainability and good quality designs, Finisterre will fulfil all your sustainable walking gear needs 😍 🥾

BTN BikeShare

You may have seen people on blue bikes all around Brighton, introducing BTN BikeShare! Dotted all over the city, all you need to do is download the BTN BikeShare app and link up your phone to the bike you’ve chosen.
